Precision, discretion
and dedication

A professional butler and hospitality leader who brings together old-world service craft, operational discipline, and a genuine instinct for making people feel looked after — before they even know they need it.

With over 10 years of experience spanning private household service, luxury hotel operations, banquet management, and expedition hospitality, I work at the intersection of personal service and professional management.

Every engagement begins long before arrival — with detailed guest profiling, personalised preparation, and a commitment to anticipating needs rather than reacting to them. Whether coordinating a team of 20 for a synchronized wedding service at 200 covers, or managing a bespoke breakfast ritual for a private family of five, the standard of care remains the same.

A graduate of The International Butler Academy — where I ranked top of my cohort — and holder of a Master Craftmanship Diploma and Presidential Medal for wine knowledge, I combine formal training with the kind of practical judgment that only comes with experience.

Let's discuss
your project

Available for private household placements, luxury hospitality consultancy, project management engagements, expedition service, and bespoke event delivery. Based in Iceland — open to international opportunities.

Location

Reykjavík, Iceland

Preparation begins long before arrival

The best service is invisible — because everything has already been anticipated. Before a guest arrives, I build a complete picture of who they are.

  • Guest profiling — preferences, dietary requirements, relationship dynamics, past stay notes, and anything that makes this person feel individually understood.
  • Arrival preparation — room temperature, amenities, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, and every detail confirmed before the door opens.
  • Handwritten welcome notes — placed personally in each room, accompanied by welcome gifts where requested by the household.
  • Refreshment preferences confirmed — welcome drinks, infused waters, arrival snacks — all prepared and timed.
  • Staff briefing — schedules, duties, and responsibilities coordinated across everyone involved in the stay.
  • Luggage service — packing and unpacking managed discreetly and without instruction.
Table preparation

Ghost service — present when needed, invisible when not

During the stay, I am always reachable but never intrusive. My role is to anticipate, not to react.

  • Primary contact — I am the single point of communication between guests and all household staff, vendors, and external parties.
  • Breakfast service — personally planned, prepared, and served. Timed to each guest's wake schedule, dietary preferences, and ritual.
  • Household upkeep — guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas maintained to standard throughout the stay.
  • Travel coordination — excursions, transport, reservations, and logistics managed and adjusted in real time.
  • Full confidentiality — all guest information, preferences, and movements treated with absolute discretion at all times.
Briefing the team

Service to a standard befitting any principal

Dining is where hospitality becomes an art form. Every meal is a managed experience — from the first cover to the final glass.

  • Service style adapted to the guest — family sharing, American, Russian, English, or French service — whichever the principal prefers.
  • Bespoke menus — planned around dietary requirements, cultural preferences, and the occasion.
  • Wine & beverage service — paired, decanted, and presented to a standard earned through formal training and a Presidential Medal for wine knowledge.
  • Table craft — napkin artistry, silverware placement, and setting design handled with precision and care.
  • Snacks & refreshments between meals — infused waters, fresh juices, afternoon platters — sustained hospitality throughout the day.
IBA

A clean close — and a full debrief

Departure is handled with the same attention as arrival. Nothing is left to chance, and nothing is left behind.

  • Luggage preparation — packed on request, checked against a room-by-room inventory to ensure nothing is missed.
  • Travel provisions — breakfast, lunch, or dinner bags prepared for the journey when requested.
  • Checkout coordination — transport confirmed, property handed back in order, all parties briefed.
  • Staff debrief — a structured review with all team members: what worked, what could be refined, and what to carry forward.
  • Inventory report — a full written record of the stay, consumables used, and any notes for future engagements.
